What TrioAsk Actually Does
TrioAsk lets you send one prompt to Claude, GPT and Gemini simultaneously and read all three answers side by side in one screen. Free to use. Runs on your own API keys.
The concept is simple enough to explain in one sentence. That is intentional. The 02UI team started with a clear brief, validated whether it was technically possible before building anything, and had a working version running locally by end of day one.
How the Build Actually Happened
The process started with a sketch in Figma. A rough one. Just enough to show the layout to the AI tools before writing a single build prompt.
From there, we used Claude Code and Cursor: Claude as the thinking layer, Cursor as the building layer. The first instruction to the AI was deliberately focused: build the function, skip the styling entirely. That one decision kept the brief clean and stopped the build from sprawling in too many directions at once.
We also did something most people skip. Before writing any build prompts, we asked Claude to challenge the plan. Check the technical feasibility. Flag the security risks. Be objective. That habit alone probably saved days of heading in the wrong direction.
The Catchup Feature Is the Real Idea
The side-by-side layout is useful. The catchup feature is the part worth paying close attention to.
During a conversation, you can switch off one of the AI models and carry on with the others. When you bring it back, click catchup. It reads everything it missed and brings itself up to speed without you typing a word.
That solves a real problem. Anyone who has tried to keep multiple AI conversations in sync knows how much time disappears into re-explaining context. We experienced that frustration and built a direct answer to it.
What This Means If You Have an Idea
The 02UI Labs exists for exactly this reason. To take ideas from concept to live product, document the whole process, and share it openly.
The takeaway from this build is simple: start with a clear idea, validate it with AI before building, brief your tools well, and ship. The resources are all free. The knowledge is all available. The distance between having an idea and having a live product is smaller than most people think.
